The Yeedi Cube is the brand's most ambitious model and its answer to all-in-one Deebot X-series docks. It advertises 5,100 Pa suction, an oscillating mop with hot water wash, and an auto-empty base with clean and dirty water tanks, at a list price of $899 on the Yeedi product page at time of review. Amazon's current Cube listing shows the same $899 sticker with frequent promotions bringing it into the $600s.

The Cube is the model where the Ecovacs-value angle is easiest to see. A Deebot X2 Omni with a broadly comparable feature set sits above $1,400 on Ecovacs' own store; if the buyer accepts an older navigation stack and a less mature app, the Cube covers roughly the same job for hundreds less.

The catches are real. Third-party reviewers including Tom's Guide flag that the Cube uses a bumper-and-optical navigation combo rather than LiDAR, which shows up as slower mapping and more first-run cleanup misses in cluttered rooms. Pricing at time of writing: the Vac Max lists at $299 on Amazon, the Vac Station at $399, and the Mop Station Pro at $549 on the Yeedi site. Street prices are frequently 25 to 40 percent below list during promotional windows, which is where the value case for these older platforms actually lives.

None of these three has LiDAR. They use visual SLAM (Vac Max, Vac Station) or gyroscope-with-camera navigation (Mop Station Pro). That is fine for a rectangular apartment or a single-floor home with cleared floors, and it becomes limiting quickly in a cluttered multi-room layout with dark furniture.

That is a reasonable summary of the brand: not a top pick, not a mistake at the right price.

The long-term risk is app and firmware support. Yeedi models tend to be pruned from active development sooner than Deebot equivalents, which is a normal outcome for a value sub-brand and something to weight against a two- or three-year ownership horizon.
