Is the MOVA V70 Ultra Complete Worth Buying?

The MOVA V70 Ultra Complete is worth buying only for homes with heavy-shedding pets, many wall edges or low furniture, and a budget of $1,299. At The Bot Scout, we have not tested the V70 Ultra Complete. Every V70 Ultra Complete figure here is MOVA's published claim from its product page, set beside MOVA's own footnotes.
For a buying decision, plan around the more conservative number in each pair: 40,000 Pa of suction, a 4.5 cm single step, a 16 cm mop reach and an 89.5 mm height. If your floors are flat with no wall-edge or low-furniture problem, or your budget is under $1,000, the MOVA P70 Pro Ultra at $799.00 is the cheaper MOVA to look at.
In our reading of MOVA's product page, we compared each headline figure with its footnote and found four places where the page disagrees with itself. The four pairs cover suction in pascals (Pa), climbing height, mop reach and robot height, and you can check each one at the V70 Ultra Complete product page.
- Suction: 42,000 Pa in the headline bullets and specifications table, 40,000 Pa in a callout and its footnote.
- Climbing: 9 cm in the specifications table, but only 4.5 cm for a single step in the footnote.
- Mop reach: 17 cm in the specifications table, 16 cm in the footnote that defines the measurement.
- Robot height: 88 mm in the specifications table, 89.5 mm in a headline bullet.
MOVA V70 Ultra Complete Review of Published Claims and Footnotes
MOVA's product page backs the V70 Ultra Complete with a long list of figures. MOVA footnotes most of them as in-house lab results and notes that actual results may vary. The suction claim comes from a motor MOVA says spins at up to 150,000 revolutions per minute (RPM).
Hair pickup above 99.9%, recognition of over 300 obstacles by artificial intelligence (AI), and pet-waste detection at up to 99.9% accuracy all carry the same in-house lab basis. Two claims show no test basis on the page at all. The first is the headline bullet saying the reusable dust tank saves $150 a year, and the second is the dock's 99.99% dirt, 99.9999% bacteria and 99.9% stain removal figures.
Read every row in the table as MOVA's published claim. Vacuum Wars, an independent robot vacuum review site, published "MOVA V70 Ultra Complete Review: New Number One?" on November 2, 2026. Its figures were not retrievable, so none of them appear here. You can read its findings at the Vacuum Wars link.

Four Places MOVA's Product Page Disagrees with Itself
MOVA's product page gives two different values for suction, climbing height, mop reach and robot height, and in each pair one value is safer to plan around. The 17 cm and 16 cm mop figures are not reconciled on the page.
For suction, the headline bullets, overview heading and specifications table say 42,000 Pa. A callout on the same page reads "40,000Pa* Hurricane-Level Suction", and the footnote ties 40,000 Pa and 150,000 RPM to MOVA's in-house lab tests. Use 40,000 Pa when comparing the V70 Ultra Complete with other models, because that is the number the footnote attaches to a test.
For climbing, the specifications table lists an obstacle crossing height of 9 cm. The footnote says a single obstacle or vertical step tops out at 4.5 cm, which is half the headline. The next section shows which of those two numbers applies to a doorway.
For mop reach, the specifications table gives the MaxiReachX mop extension as 17 cm. The footnote that explains the measurement says 16 cm, from the center of the mop pad to the center of the pad in its extended position. Use 16 cm, since it is the only one of the two figures MOVA defines.
For height, the specifications table lists the V70 Ultra Complete at 350 x 350 x 88 mm. A headline bullet says the retractable FlexScope navigation, a laser distance sensor, drops to an 89.5 mm profile, which is 1.5 mm taller than the table figure. Measure the gap under your lowest sofa or bed and compare it with 89.5 mm, the larger figure.
If any of these four gaps decides your purchase, check the current wording on MOVA's V70 Ultra Complete product page before you order.
Single-Step Climbing Height and the 9 cm Headline
The V70 Ultra Complete can cross a single step or threshold up to 4.5 cm tall, according to MOVA's footnote. The 9 cm headline is the combined height of two steps spaced 23 cm apart, based on tests in MOVA's in-house lab. MOVA notes that actual results may vary with environmental factors.
MOVA calls the retractable-leg design StepMaster System 2.0. MOVA says the legs lift the chassis to cross steps, thresholds, door tracks and U-shaped furniture legs. MOVA also says the V70 Ultra Complete climbs without misreading steps as cliffs.
The 9 cm figure describes that pair of steps with 23 cm between them, so it does not tell you whether one 9 cm threshold can be crossed. MOVA publishes no single-step figure above 4.5 cm.
Measure the tallest single threshold in your home before buying. If it is 4.5 cm or lower, MOVA's published single-step figure covers it. If it is taller, no published MOVA figure covers it. Plan to lift the V70 Ultra Complete over that threshold by hand or clean on one side of that doorway.

Mopping, Dock Care and the EcoCyclone Bagless Dust Tank
The V70 Ultra Complete mops with two detachable spinning pads and empties dust into a washable bagless tank, so there are no dust bags to buy. MOVA says the pads spin at 300 RPM and press down with 15 newtons of force. MOVA says the two together remove dried residue in a single cleaning pass, based on in-house lab figures.
The FlexiPress floating mop plate adjusts up to 2 mm up and 1 mm down with a 5 degree tilt. MOVA says that range keeps the pads in contact with uneven floors. MOVA also claims 134 degree wide-arc mopping and three times the coverage of the previous-generation MaxiReach mop extension, based on in-house lab data.
An ultrasonic sensor detects carpet. On carpet, the V70 Ultra Complete can lift or remove the mops, avoid rugs or raise suction. If you have rugs that must stay dry, set it to remove the mops or avoid rugs.
The dock refills solution, empties dust, washes the mops and charges the V70 Ultra Complete. It holds a 4.0 liter clean water tank for washing the mops and a 3.5 liter waste water tank for the used water. A pre-installed DuoSolution dispenser has two compartments, so two cleaning solutions can be dosed automatically.
Mop washing runs on the JetSpray Dryboard 2.0 washboard, which has a 40 degree beveled design and heats to 100°C (212°F). The pads then dry with 70°C hot air in about 1 hour. MOVA's dock figures of 99.99% dirt, 99.9999% bacteria and 99.9% stain removal come with no test conditions on the page.
The EcoCyclone dust tank is washable and auto-dried, and MOVA says it supports up to 100 days of hands-free use. The footnote says that 100-day figure comes from a single emptying test and varies with usage frequency and debris levels. A second footnote says EcoCyclone is a product series name only and does not indicate cyclonic separation.
The $150-a-year saving in MOVA's headline bullet shows no basis on the page. Leave it out of any cost comparison.
For pet hair, MOVA pairs the dust tank with a TroboWave DuoBrush and an anti-tangle side brush. Pet Care mode, according to MOVA, detects pets and pet waste with up to 99.9% accuracy, and that figure varies with pet activity. Custom objects can be added in the MOVAhome app, along with safe distance and targeted cleaning settings.
MOVA lists a 6,400 milliampere-hour (mAh) battery with Smart-Protect fast charging, and the V70 Ultra Complete resumes cleaning from its last mapped position after a recharge. MOVA claims charging is up to 30% faster than earlier fast-charge models such as the 50 and 60 Series. The page publishes no runtime, no square footage per charge, no dustbin volume and no noise level.
Price, Stock Status and Box Contents for the MOVA V70 Ultra Complete
The MOVA V70 Ultra Complete lists at $1,299.00 on MOVA's store, with the regular and sale prices both shown at $1,299.00 on November 2, 2026. Black, the only color, showed as sold out with a "Notify me" sign-up.
The page lists a 30-day price guarantee, up to 3 years of warranty, free shipping, shipping in 2 to 3 days, and 30-day free returns. MOVA's membership points program shows 1,299 points, worth $12.99 off, for buying the V70 Ultra Complete. Prices and stock change, so check both on the V70 Ultra Complete product page before you plan a purchase.
MOVA's page shows 6 customer reviews: 5 reviews (83%) in the top rating row and one in the next row. One reviewer says the V70 Ultra Complete replaced a Dreame X50 that failed after four months, and prefers the bin over a bag with several heavy-shedding animals. Six reviews on MOVA's own store is a small sample, so give them little weight.
The box includes the V70 Ultra Complete, its base station and an extra accessories kit. The extra kit puts spare brushes, filters, 6 mop pads and cleaning solution in the box.
- Robot and base station
- Pre-installed main brush, side brush and dust tank with filter
- 2 mop pads and 2 mop pad holders
- Washboard filter and dual-compartment solution dispenser module
- Base station ramp extension, manual and quick start guide
- Extra kit: 1 main brush, 1 side brush, 2 dust box filters, 6 mop pads, 1 liter of solution and 200 milliliters of solution
Best-Fit Homes and the MOVA P70 Pro Ultra Alternative
Buy the V70 Ultra Complete if heavy-shedding pets, many wall edges or low furniture are the main cleaning problems in your home and $1,299 fits your budget. The basis for that verdict is MOVA's published figures and footnotes. For flat floors or a tighter budget, the $799 MOVA P70 Pro Ultra is the MOVA to look at.
Our P70 Pro Ultra review, dated September 23, 2026, records MOVA's listing of that model at $799.00 with 30,000 Pa suction and a 212°F mop-washing dock. MOVA did not publish its dustbin volume, battery capacity or sound level. That review also lists a MaxiReach edge-extending side brush, so edge reach is available on both models.
The price gap is $500 ($1,299 minus $799). The suction gap is 10,000 Pa using the V70's footnoted 40,000 Pa, or 12,000 Pa using its 42,000 Pa headline. Check the P70 Pro Ultra's current price on its MOVA product page, since prices change.
Choose the P70 Pro Ultra when saving $500 matters more than the V70's higher suction figure and its published climbing, mop-extension and battery figures. Choose the V70 Ultra Complete when your home has heavy-shedding pets, many wall edges or low furniture, and every threshold is 4.5 cm or lower.
Our verdict would change if the V70 Ultra Complete's price dropped near the P70 Pro Ultra's $799 tier. It would also change if independent tests contradicted MOVA's figures. For other options, see our best robot vacuum for pet hair page and our MOVA robot vacuum buying guide, which places the V70 Ultra Complete in the V series.
The V70 Ultra Complete is a poor fit for four groups of buyers:
- Buyers who want independent test results before paying: read the Vacuum Wars review before deciding.
- Homes with flat floors and no wall-edge or low-furniture problem: the P70 Pro Ultra costs $500 less.
- Budgets under $1,000: the P70 Pro Ultra's $799.00 listing fits and the V70 Ultra Complete's $1,299.00 does not.
- Homes with a threshold taller than 4.5 cm: no MOVA single-step figure covers it, so lift the robot over by hand or clean one side of the doorway.

Bottom Line
Before joining the waitlist, measure the tallest single threshold in your home and the gap under your lowest sofa or bed. If the threshold is 4.5 cm or lower and the gap is taller than 89.5 mm, sign up for the "Notify me" alert on the MOVA V70 Ultra Complete product page. If either measurement falls outside those figures, MOVA's published numbers do not cover your home. Check the current figures on the V70 Ultra Complete product page before ordering.
