Reporting on the 2026 update describes a redesigned bionic hand with its volume cut by around 60 percent and a large increase in degrees of freedom, aimed at letting the fingers perform more complex, human-like movements.

The update has also been reported to include a thermal management or "sweating" style cooling approach to keep the actuators working during sustained tasks, and Xiaomi presented a CyberOne V2 at an investor event positioned as moving beyond the factory floor. As always, a reveal is a statement of direction, and the specific figures are Xiaomi's own until third parties verify them.

The emphasis on hands is the right signal to watch. No. CyberOne is a research prototype, and Xiaomi has not released it for sale or announced a consumer price. Any figure you see labeled as a "Xiaomi CyberOne price" is not an official retail number, and the robots shown in the factory are Xiaomi's own internal units, not stock for customers.
